Hello everyone! Just a quick update with meeting times coming up:
We'll be meeting at Central Christian Church on 1315 E SPring St in New Albany on October 25, November 1, 15 and 29th.
We're also gearing up to make our first massive donation to the local chapter of CareWear.org.
When we get a final count I'll post the numbers along with some pictures.
If you're unable to attend but would still like to make items to help you can contact us by email KnittingForaNeed@gmail.com. We can come pick the items or any supplies or donations you might have.

Date Changes for Knitting For A Need
Hello all!
Due to scheduling conflicts and upcoming holidays. We've tweaked our meeting schedule to accommodate.
We will be meeting on the following dates June 8 and 22nd, July 6th and 20th, August 3, 17 and 31st.
We are still meeting at Central Christian Church from 6-?, located at 1315 E Spring St, New Albany, Indiana.

Welcome
Knitting For A Need is a group out of New Albany, Indiana, of concerned citizens who want to do something to help the homeless members of our community.
The mission is simple. We work using our skills at fiber arts and make scarves and hats to donate to local clothes closets and groups that can use these types of items.
In 2007, Knitting For a Need donated over 80 scarves to the American Legion that were handed out to Kentuckiana homeless veterans. KFAN also worked with Central Christian Church in New Albany to supplying a local school with hats and scarves at Christmas.
KFAN has all levels of crocheters and knitters who try to meet a few times a month. We are always looking for people to donate their time, money or yarn!
